A Brief Overview

We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Senior Finance Automation Engineer. This role will serve as a bridge between Finance and IT, specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and low‑code solutions to streamline Finance processes. The focus is on building scalable automation workflows, integrating systems, and mentoring citizen developers to accelerate the delivery of low‑code solutions across the Finance organization.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business units and Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Design, test, and implement automation workflows using Power Automate, UiPath, and other RPA/low‑code tools.
  • Maintain and optimize RPA solutions, including exception handling and performance tuning.
  • Develop connectors and integrations across financial (Oracle, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Drive adoption of RPA across Finance through workshops and enablement sessions.
  • Mentor junior team members and support business users in building their own automations, fostering a citizen development culture.
  • Lead awareness campaigns and conduct workshops to enhance automation and AI literacy across Finance teams.
  • Partner with IT to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant implementations.
  • Document processes and provide training to business partners.
  • Create visual representations of technical solution workflows for business partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in automation, business process improvement, or systems integration roles.
  • Expertise in at least one RPA platform (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Experience with REST APIs, Python, and SQL.
  • Previous programming or analyst experience preferred.
  • Understanding of Finance processes and ERP systems (Oracle EBS/Cloud).
  • Proven ability of deconstructing complex business needs into clear, technical solutions.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage new AI technologies.
  • Advanced certifications (UiPath, Power Platform, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with integrations to and from Oracle ERP/Cloud/EPM is a plus.

  • Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Databricks – for data engineering, modeling, and pipeline orchestration.
  • SharePoint – for collaboration and document management.
Wages and Benefits

Salary range: $110k to $140k annually.
