Overview

We are looking for a passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join the Witherslack Group and make a positive impact on young people’s lives. Delivered across Chilworth House Upper and Lower School, this role offers a 3/2 day split, full school holidays, and a truly supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
• Specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs
• Experience of supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they are being provided with clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences
• Be a confident, engaging and effective model, guide, leader and trainer
• Be highly organised and ready to take the initiative
• Be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people

Responsibilities

As part of a multi‑disciplinary clinical team you will be supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessment and formulation you will offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people, supporting therapeutic living and learning environments and ensuring a positive communication trajectory.
