Social Worker - Adults Multi-Disciplinary Team

This role is actually for a Speech and Language Therapist to work in Surrey on a full-time basis. The salary for this permanent job is £35,392 – £42,618 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert speech, language, and swallowing therapy for adults with acquired communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders.
  • Deliver neurorehabilitation in a residential setting, addressing a wide range of neurological conditions.
  • Offer specialist assessments and neurorehabilitation for clients on the stroke pathway, following national and local guidelines.
  • Develop and implement Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) programmes, under the guidance of Senior SLTs, to meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Provide valuable advice and guidance to clients, families, and staff on managing dysphagia.
  • Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to monitor and achieve key therapeutic goals and standards.

About You:

  • You are an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist, passionate about improving the lives of people with complex neuro-disabilities.
  • You hold a degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy with up-to-date HCPC registration and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy.
  • You are committed to working within your professional guidelines and inspired by QEF’s Values and Behaviours.
