An educational institution in the UK is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to manage a caseload of students with complex communication needs. The ideal candidate will support students' access to the curriculum while working in a multi-disciplinary team. This full-time role offers competitive salaries based on experience, a supportive environment, and opportunities for professional growth. Experience with learning disabilities or autism is preferred, and dysphagia training is available.
We welcome applications from therapists who are looking to join an established service and develop their specialism. There will be opportunities to develop your professional therapy skills and knowledge. The role is primarily communication based although there may be opportunities to develop your skills in dysphagia within the field of adult learning disabilities. Dysphagia experience is therefore not essential. The ideal candidate will have some experience of supporting people with complex physical, learning and sensory needs, and have an interest in autism, social and emotional learning needs, AAC and/or developing early communication skills.
Are you an energetic and creative Speech and Language Therapist who is keen to work in a supportive multi-disciplinary setting? Are you looking to make a difference to the lives of young people with complex needs and/or autism? Then come and join us in Beaumont College.
