You'll manage practical workshops, assist students, and promote the college's programs. Ideal candidates will have a Level 2 qualification and relevant engineering experience, as well as strong health and safety knowledge. Chichester College Group have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Specialist Technician – Engineering at our Crawley College campus. You will join us on full time, 1 year fixed contract. In return, we will offer a competitive salary of £25,582 – £25,683 per annum.
The Specialist Technician – Engineering role:
A unique opportunity to contribute to teaching and learning within our new Institute of Technology and Construction Hub.
As our Specialist Technician, you will be involved in the setup, maintenance and stock control of practical workshops in engineering and construction. The position, working alongside an outstanding teaching team, will play a key role in creating exceptional learning environments that support outstanding teaching and learning. There will be opportunities for training on new equipment and developing new working practices as the area grows to meet the employment and skills needs of the future.
As our Specialist Technician, you will possess a solid technical understanding and be proficient with hand tools and basic machinery.
Monday‑Thursday 08:30‑17:00
