Specialist SEN Teacher – Dover

Are you an ambitious, compassionate teacher with a passion for supporting neurodiverse learners? A brilliant specialist SEN school in Dover is looking to appoint a dedicated Specialist SEN Teacher to join their team, working with pupils with Autism (ASC) and ADHD who require structure, patience, and highly personalised learning.

About the role
  • Deliver personalised, adaptive lessons to learners with ASC and ADHD.
  • Use consistent routines, visual supports, and tailored communication strategies.
  • Work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team including SENCOs, therapists and pastoral staff.
  • Create a calm, structured and supportive space where pupils feel safe, understood and motivated.
  • Assess, track and celebrate pupil progress in both academic and social/emotional development.
  • Foster independence, emotional regulation and confidence.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Strong knowledge or experience of Autism, ADHD and neurodiverse learning needs.
  • Confidence in implementing adapted curricula and behaviour‑supportive strategies.
  • A nurturing, patient and resilient approach.
Offer
  • £170 – £230 per day, Mon‑Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term‑time only.
  • Excellent on‑site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
  • On‑site parking included.
  • Right to work in the UK is required; no visa sponsorship.
