A healthcare organization in Crewe is seeking a motivated Band 6 Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join their expanding community team. The role involves providing specialized assessments and treatments to patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to service development and work autonomously to manage a complex caseload, ensuring high-quality patient care in various clinical settings. Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) are looking for a positive and motivated Band 6 Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our pelvic health team in the Community Bladder & Bowel Service. This team is expanding to support an ever-evolving demand for Pelvic Health in our growing patient population. Candidates should have a keen interest in pelvic floor health and conditions associated with pelvic floor dysfunction to support and shape the team going forward to meet service needs and best practice guidelines. You will be working alongside our experienced Pelvic Health Physiotherapists, including a Band 7 Clinical Lead, two Band 6 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists, Community Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurses, and Obstetric, Urogynecology, Urology and Colorectal teams.
Our outpatient clinics are held in community settings across the CCICP area; you may be required to work in more than one clinical base. Clinic appointments are held individually or in group settings. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of specialist physiotherapists providing a comprehensive outpatient Physiotherapy service in Pelvic Health with an active role in further development of the service and completion of clinical audits.

To work autonomously and manage a defined complex patient caseload whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary team. To contribute to the delivery of the service in a variety of defined clinical settings, this may include outpatient and community clinics. The running of joint clinics within the MDT may be required. To respect the individuality, values, cultural and religious diversity of patients, contributing to a service sensitive to these needs. To utilise advanced communication skills to ensure clinical advice and treatment programmes are delivered sensitively, taking into consideration the needs of carers. To gain consent for treatment and motivate patients to comply with treatment programmes, overcoming barriers such as dementia, cognitive impairment, hearing, visual or speech impairment. To undertake specialist clinical assessment, taking into account all relevant information and clinical reasoning to formulate evidence-based individualised treatment plans in agreement with the patient. To implement specialist individual and/or group interventions for patients with diverse presentations and complex needs. To monitor progress and review treatment plans and interventions to facilitate the achievement of goals. To provide appropriate oral and written information for patients and carers where relevant. To develop and maintain good working relationships with other healthcare professions, social care and other appropriate agencies, to ensure integrated and high-quality patient outcomes. To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to decisions with regard to patient care programmes through attendance at multidisciplinary meetings. To maintain accurate documentation in line with professional standards, and local policies and procedures. To provide accurate and timely written information and reports to referring agents and other agencies where appropriate. To record and submit clinical PROMS as required by the Trust in an accurate and timely manner. To ensure the safe and timely discharge of patients from the caseload, liaising with other agencies as required. To be responsible for safe and competent use of equipment including the provision of support, education and training to other staff, patients and carers as required.
