A national healthcare organization in Liverpool invites applications for a nursing position focusing on tissue donation. The role includes responsibilities such as triaging potential donors, assessing clinical suitability, and advising on donor relations. The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a degree or equivalent experience. NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) provide vital services to the NHS, improving patient outcomes and saving lives. As a key member of the Nursing team within OTDT, you will play an essential role, working within the National referral centre team to facilitate tissue donation from donors across the UK.
The tissue donation programme is under growth so you will also have the opportunity to be involved in the development and implementation of strategies in conjunction with the NRC Matrons to expand the donation programme, training and clinical standards.

We are recruiting for the following 2 positions:
37.5 hours per week - Fixed term for 12 months
30 hours per week - Permanent
