A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to join the Specialist Biochemistry team at their Oxford Road site. The role requires specialist Biochemistry experience and proficiency in various analytical techniques. Candidates with an IBMS specialist portfolio in Clinical Biochemistry are preferred, while those working towards this qualification may be considered for a Band 5 position. This role plays a vital part in aiding clinical diagnosis using advanced laboratory techniques.

Mon–Fri, 9am – 5pm vacancy at our Oxford Road site for a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist with experience in the Specialist Biochemistry team. Band 5 would also be considered. Candidates must be in possession of an IBMS specialist portfolio in Clinical Biochemistry or equivalent to be appointed at Band 6.
The Directorate of Biochemistry spans 4 sites with state-of-the-art equipment. Our Specialist Chemistry sections at Oxford Road boast internationally renowned specialised assays using Waters Mass Spectrometry instruments and other techniques such as HPLC, RIA, ELISA, Calculi Analysis and other manual assays.
