Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Sous Chef for the Hedgehog within Vintage Inns. You will lead a kitchen section, train and inspire your team, manage food ordering and stock control, and ensure compliance with health and hygiene standards.

You will work within a Rural pub setting, enjoy staff discounts, and have opportunities for progression and paid qualifications as part of Mitchells & Butlers. Join us and help create a welcoming guest experience.

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
