Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Peterborough is seeking a Sous Chef for the Cuckoo, joining Vintage Inns. You’ll run a section, train staff and step up in the absence of the Head Chef.

You’ll work with a branded menu, ensure food safety, manage ordering and stock, and lead the kitchen team to deliver great meals in a friendly pub environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or senior chef in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen.
• Ability to train and lead kitchen staff to deliver quality dishes.

• Lead a kitchen section and train your team to work cohesively.
• Assist Head Chef with food ordering, prep, and stock control.
