Job summary

Pho - Waterloo Cut in London is looking for a hands-on Sous Chef to join our NEWPHORESTAURANT opening in Waterloo. You will support the Head Chef, mentor wok, lines and salad chefs, and help run multiple kitchen sections with a friendly, hands-on approach.

Salary up to £41,900 (£34,700 base plus earnings through tron). We offer free meals at work, 50% off food and drink, Wagestream, annual parties and a company pension. Experience as Second/Sous Chef and strong food-safety knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands on chefs who are passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Second Chef or Sous Chef with minimum x1 years’ in role.
• Experience being second in command and mentoring wok, lines and salad chefs.
• Strong knowledge in food safety and managing compliance within health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef with managerial duties across kitchen sections.
• Mentor wok chefs, line chefs and salad chefs to maintain standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety.

Our kitchen has a wonderful team of chefs who work very hard and are great at what they do, so it’s important we find the right Second Chef who is going to be supportive, friendly and hands‑on, always ready to help in the different sections of the kitchen.

Salary offer of up to£41,900is made up of a base of £34,700plus earnings received through tronc.
