Job summary

Pho Restaurants in Edinburgh is looking for a hands-on Sous Chef to lead and support our busy kitchen. You’ll work across stations, help in every section, and inspire a great team.

You will report to the Head Chef, mentor wok, lines and salad chefs, and ensure strict food safety and health-and-safety compliance.

The annual salary package offers up to £41,300: base £34,700 plus tronc, with benefits such as free meals, 50% staff discount, pension, and regular training.

Qualifications

• Hands-on chefs who are passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Second Chef or Sous Chef with minimum 1 year in role.
• Experience being second in command in a kitchen, assisting the Head Chef with managerial duties and mentoring wok/line/salad chefs.
• Strong knowledge in food safety and managing compliance within health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

We are looking for aSous Chef to join our busy Pho restaurant in Edinburgh.

Our kitchen has a wonderful team of chefs who work very hard and are great at what they do, so it’s important we find the right Second Chef who is going to be supportive, friendly and hands-on, always ready to help in the different sections of the kitchen.

Annual alary offer of up to£41,300 is made up of a base annual salary £34,700 plus earnings received through tronc.
