Job summary

Pho Restaurants in Bristol is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef for a new opening. You’ll be second in command, supporting the Head Chef and mentoring junior cooks in a busy kitchen.

The role requires leadership, passion for fresh flavours, and a solid understanding of food safety regulations. Annual salary up to £41,300, with base £34,700 plus tronc. Includes great benefits and a vibrant team culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on chefs passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Experience as Second Chef or Sous Chef in a kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with managerial duties and mentoring wok, lines and salad chefs.
• Support in coordinating kitchen sections during service.

Our kitchen has a wonderful team of chefs who work very hard and are great at what they do, so it's important we find the right Second Chef who is going to be supportive, friendly and hands-on, always ready to help in the different sections of the kitchen.

Annual alary offer of up to£41,300 is made up of a base annual salary £34,700 plus earnings received through tronc.

What Pho is looking for:

• Hands on chefs who are passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.

• Experience being second in command in a kitchen. Assisting both the Head Chef with managerial duties and being a mentor to our wok chefs, lines chefs and salad chefs.
