Job summary

Pho Restaurants in Bluewater is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join our busy Pho kitchen. You will lead sections, collaborate with the Head Chef and help maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, experienced in a busy kitchen, and committed to coaching junior staff while upholding food safety and company policies. This role offers a rewarding team environment and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Hands-on chefs who are passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Second Chef or Sous Chef with minimum x1 years' in role.
• Experience being second in command in a kitchen; assist Head Chef with managerial duties and mentor wok, lines and salad chefs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and staffing.
• Mentor wok chefs, line chefs and salad chefs to ensure consistency.
• Uphold food safety standards and health and safety regulations.

Our kitchen has a wonderful team of chefs who work very hard and are great at what they do, so it's important we find the right Second Chef who is going to be supportive, friendly and hands-on, always ready to help in the different sections of the kitchen.

What Pho is looking for:
