Pho in Brighton is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen. You will support the Head Chef, mentor wok, line and salad chefs, and help manage daily kitchen operations in a vibrant Pho restaurant.

The role emphasizes leadership, food safety, and delivering fresh, flavoursome dishes as part of a passionate team in a popular Brighton location.

Qualifications

• Hands-on chef with passion for fresh, vibrant food.
• Experience as second/sous in a kitchen, with managerial duties.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with daily kitchen management and operations.
• Mentor wok, line and salad chefs to maintain quality and speed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and HACCP practices.

We are looking for aSous Chef to join our busy Pho restaurant in Brighton

Our kitchen has a wonderful team of chefs who work very hard and are great at what they do, so it’s important we find the right Second Chef who is going to be supportive, friendly and hands-on, always ready to help in the different sections of the kitchen.

Annual alary offer of up to£40,000is made up of a base annual salary £34,700 plus earnings received through tronc.

What Pho is looking for:

• Hands on chefs who are passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Second Chef or Sous Chef with minimum x1 years’ in role.
• Experience being second in command in a kitchen. Assisting both the Head Chef with managerial duties and being a mentor to our wok chefs, lines chefs and salad chefs.
• Strong knowledge in food safety and managing compliance within health and safety regulations
