Overview

What is the role?

A leading international software provider in the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) space is seeking a Solutions Consultant to support its pre-sales efforts across the UK. Reporting to the UK Solutions Consulting Director. The company recently unified its brand across Europe following a strategic acquisition, and this role will be key in communicating its platforms value through high-impact demos and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging software demonstrations tailored to prospects
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure demo environments are correctly configured and optimized
• Develop customized content and presentations that effectively communicate the platforms benefits and capabilities
• Support the sales team by articulating functional value in areas like financial consolidation and reporting
• Assist with RFP responses, regional sales strategy, and positioning efforts
• Bridge functional and technical teams to ensure demos meet both business and IT expectations
• Continuously improve demo assets and support the growth of the UK pre-sales function

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, IT, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in consulting, pre-sales, or enterprise software delivery
• Understanding of consolidation, reporting, or financial planning processes is a strong plus
• Technically conversant able to engage with internal teams on topics like cloud infrastructure and data models
• Hands-on experience with EPM or consolidation tools (e.g. Jedox, IBM Planning Analytics, Tagetik, OneStream, Oracle HFM, SAP BPC, etc.)
• Fluent in English essential for engaging with local clients
• A motivated, energetic profile with good communication skills and potential to grow into a client-facing expert
• Confident but still developing in your presentation skills we value potential and coachability
• Familiarity with performance management or financial software is a bonus
