Overview

The Data Powered Industries & Domains is a Data Advisory practice, part of Capgemini's global Insights & Data group, helps organisations become data and insight driven by applying emerging technologies and robust architectural principles. We combine innovative thinking with industrialised delivery to create meaningful business value across key industries and evolving domains.


We are looking for people who are passionate about data, insights, and architecture, with a strong consulting mindset and a desire to continuously learn and apply new ideas.


Role Focus

You will bring a blend of consulting capability, data and insights expertise, and strong communication skills. You will lead multidisciplinary teams across architecture, data, and insights to help transform how organisations operate. Collaboration, relationship building, and a unified advisory mindset are central to our work.


What You\'ll Do

Our work varies across advisory, proof of value exercises, and delivery of industrialised solutions. Projects span multiple sectors, including public sector, consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, and utilities.


When not on a client engagement, you may support business development, contribute to bids, deliver training, develop thought leadership, build demos, or support our blog.


Responsibilities


  • Provide clients with clear, practical advice on data centric and analytical systems.

  • Explain the rationale, approach, and operational considerations of advanced data capabilities.

  • Deliver well formed perspectives on topics such as AI, data platforms, engineering, security, privacy, DataOps, and migration strategies.

  • Lead new engagements and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Collaborate effectively with adjacent disciplines including AI engineering, cloud architecture, applications, consulting, and engineering.

  • Maintain strong relationships with partners and vendors to ensure Capgemini delivers leading viewpoints and solutions.


Experience Required


  • Strong advisory skills: consulting, influence, communication, coaching, and structured storytelling.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering large scale data, analytics, or AI centric solutions.

  • Experience architecting solutions in hybrid or multi cloud environments.

  • Solid understanding of system development lifecycles, including Agile, Scaled Agile, Kanban, and hybrid models.

  • Experience developing strategic roadmaps for major organisations.

  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across advisory, discovery, design, or delivery phases.

  • Awareness or experience in business architecture and operating model design (desirable).

  • Strong understanding of security approaches, particularly for systems spanning multiple security boundaries.


Nice to Have


  • Experience working with UK public sector or secure commercial clients.

  • BPSS or SC clearance (or eligibility to obtain clearance).

Hybrid Working


Work locations will vary between company offices, client sites, and home working. The role cannot be performed fully remotely.
