Solicitor / Associate - Property Disputes - Bristol - NQ to 3 Years PQE

Location: Bristol

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)

Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 (dependent on experience)

A leading UK Top 50 law firm is seeking a Solicitor / Associate (NQ-3 years PQE) to join its growing Property Disputes team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to high-value, high-profile regional and national matters, working with a diverse client base across sectors including real estate, retail, energy, and renewables.

The Role
  • Advising and supporting commercial property owners, landlords, tenants, investors, retailers, transport and renewable entities, and developers
  • Handling disputes concerning development land and property contracts
  • Managing landlord and tenant issues such as lease renewals, terminations, disrepair, dilapidations, break notices, forfeiture, and breach of lease covenants (including consent and service charge disputes)
  • Assisting with trusts of land matters and other property-related disputes
  • Supporting energy and renewables sector disputes, including title and ownership issues, land rights, easements, restrictive covenants, trespass, and nuisance claims
  • Playing an active role in networking and business development initiatives
  • Building and managing your own caseload while supporting senior lawyers across the national team
Candidate Requirements
  • NQ-3 years PQE in property disputes or litigation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Ability to provide practical, commercially focused advice under pressure
  • Strong research and drafting skills
  • Proactive mindset and initiative
  • Sound financial management skills (time recording, billing, WIP management)
