Software Engineer (Graph)
Location: Remote (UK)

RS Group is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our Product & Price domain team. You’ll work within a collaborative agile environment, developing and supporting new and existing microservices and GraphQL APIs that power our global digital platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Integrate our Apollo GraphQL-fronted Product API with a new Adobe Commerce implementation.
  • Support, maintain, and enhance existing Apollo GraphQL microservices.
  • Collaborate within your agile team to develop, deploy, and support microservices-based applications.
  • Work closely with other engineering teams and domains to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Our Tech Stack

You’ll be working with:

  • Node.js and Java for development.
  • AWS (Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB).
  • Apollo GraphQL.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using automation and pipelines (GitLab CI).
  • Postman, GitLab Pipelines, Adobe Digital Commerce.
  • Datadog for introspection and observability.
About You

You’re a hands-on engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’re passionate about building reliable, scalable services and love solving complex technical challenges. You care about quality, teamwork, and driving meaningful change.

What You’ll Need
  • Proven experience in software development and engineering within a modern tech environment.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across teams and levels.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to lead change positively.
  • Experience with Okta Auth0 is a plus.
