About Travel Guard – this role is part of our Travel Guard team. Travel Guard is a leading travel insurance brand, serving millions of leisure and business travellers worldwide. Established in 1982 we offer a comprehensive portfolio of travel insurance solutions and global assistance services. Travel Guard operates service centres across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, ensuring 24/7 support to help travellers navigate unexpected circumstances that may disrupt their plans. Travel Guard became part of Zurich Cover-More in December 2024.

What you’ll be doing:

• Deliver quality, understandable code by learning and implementing defined coding best practices
• Refactor and restructure the code base with the support of Principal and Senior team members
• Provide Tier II support for assigned applications
• Recommend enhancements, optimizations and improvements of assigned applications
• Follow specifications and work on new application features
• Write Unit Tests and/or Integration Tests to support all coding changes
• Work closely with Principal and Senior team members for mentorship and to work through issues
• Mentor Junior team members, preparing them for added responsibilities and duties
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers within company guidelines, regulatory obligations and SLAs
• Collaborate and provide regular reporting and updates with key stakeholders across the Cover‑More Group

What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey:

• Experience as a .Net Developer
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft .Net technologies (C#, Web API) and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience of working with TFS, Git or other similar source code repositories
• Experience working as a full stack developer
• Experience developing with front-end web application frameworks, such as Angular/React/Blazor – desirable
• Experience developing SOAP/WCF Web services – desirable
• Strong communicator with the ability to convey information and resolve user issues
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload, ensuring efficient handling of user inquiries
