A local government organization in Accrington is looking for a qualified Social Worker to join their Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. This role involves collaborative work with various agencies to safeguard children and support families effectively. International Sponsorship - This role isnot open to international sponsorshipWe currently have a great opportunity for a qualified and dedicated Social Worker to join the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team, based in Accrington.
The MASH Service is Lancashire's front door into Children's Services and the first steps to achieving positive outcomes for children, young people, and families.
We are a team of co-located safeguarding partners, whose primary role is to search and interpret information to determine thresholds and necessary action to safeguard children and young people.
As a social worker in the MASH team, you will be committed to achieving the best outcomes for children, young people and families across the county. You will work collaboratively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team while also building strong relationships with partner agencies. Ultimately our aim is to keep young people free from harm, by undertaking social work assessments and ensuring the right support is provided at the right time.
The role will be based in Lancashire House, Accrington, however travel across the county may be required dependent on service need.
