Introduction

Key Responsibilities

Managing a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding interventions.

Completing statutory assessments, direct work, and risk analysis.

Developing and implementing effective care and safety plans.

Working collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure children’s needs are met.

Attending and contributing to case conferences, core groups, and court proceedings when required.

Maintaining accurate, timely case recordings and adhering to statutory guidelines.

Ensuring child-centred, strengths-based practice at all times.

Candidate Requirements

SWE registration and right to work in the UK.

Strong background in children’s safeguarding and statutory social work.

Ability to manage risk, maintain professional curiosity, and make sound decisions.

Clear communication skills and confidence working with multi-agency partners.
