A local government authority in Penmorfa is seeking a Senior Social Worker for the Integrated Triage & Assessment Services. The role entails leading social care activities across hospitals and coordinating with health professionals to enhance patient care. Candidates must be qualified and registered with Social Care Wales, possessing strong leadership skills and experience in hospital discharge planning. Newly Qualified Social Workers will commence on Grade 9 pay and job description before progressing to grade 10 after 2 years in post. Experienced social workers will commence at Grade 10 pay and job description. Both job descriptions can be viewed below.
This position qualifies for a market supplement payment of £200 per month. Please note this additional payment will be reviewed on 31 March 2026.
The successful candidate may be eligible to up to a maximum of £8,000 (including VAT) towards the cost of expenses incurred due of relocating to Ceredigion.
