Job description

NHS Highland In-Reach Social Work Team has a vacancy for a Social Worker; this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic social worker to join a busy Social Work team which facilitate discharges from hospital either into long term care or back to their own homes with support.

Candidates should hold a relevant qualification in professional Social Work such as CQSW, DipSW, CSS or Degree in Social Work, and hold a registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.

The Social Worker has a requirement to hold a case load and will be expected to complete person centred assessments for individuals within Raigmore Hospital. There will also be an expectation for completion of Statutory duties, such as Adults with Incapacity and Adult Support and Protection work, including acting as Council Officer.
