What You Will Do:
  • Conduct Regulation 24 assessments, viability assessments, and full connected carers assessments in line with statutory requirements.
  • Provide practical and emotional support to connected carers, ensuring they are fully prepared to meet children’s needs.
  • Develop and implement sustainable care plans in partnership with families and other agencies.
  • Liaise effectively with schools, health professionals, and partner organisations to deliver cohesive care solutions.
  • Deliver training and support sessions to connected carers, enhancing their understanding and confidence in their roles.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in accordance with service and legal standards.
About You:

You will be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, bringing at least two years of experience within a fostering or connected carers team. You have proven ability to complete comprehensive assessments and a strong understanding of fostering regulations, child safeguarding, and permanency planning.
