Main Duties of the Job

The Social Worker role at Gateway Recovery Centre involves managing a complex caseload, conducting social care assessments and risk assessments, facilitating group activities, and contributing to Integrated Care Reviews (ICR) to support service users in making plans for their future. You will work closely with the Safeguarding Lead, conduct internal investigations, and liaise with home authorities during the admission and discharge process. Job Responsibilities

  • Report to the Safeguarding Lead, manage internal investigations and liaise with home authorities during admission and discharge processes

Location

Bennett’s Lane, Widnes, Warrington, WA8 0GT. You will be working at the Gateway Recovery Centre, a state‑of‑the‑art facility providing care for men and women with complex mental health requirements. The hospital contains four distinct areas: Male Autism Service, Assessment and rehabilitation for women, Specialist inpatient service for older men, and Low secure care setting for men with a mental illness with or without personality disorder/mild LD.
