Social Work Advanced Practitioner – Locality Team

Locum Social Work Advanced Practitioner within Locality Team in Bradford (UK), earning £37 per hour, Hourly, on a 3-Month basis. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled social workers ready to make a tangible impact in Keighley & Shipley with the Bradford Children and Families Trust. As part of our locality team, you will engage in meaningful work with children and families under the Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Public Law Outline (PLO), and care proceedings frameworks. What you will do:

  • Handle a manageable caseload, ensuring high-quality service delivery to children and families.
  • Provide expert guidance and support within Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Public Law Outline (PLO), and care proceedings.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings, and develop clear plans of action to support families in need.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated social workers, prioritising best practice and child safety.
  • Use your expertise to train and mentor junior staff, elevating the team’s overall performance and effectiveness.

Requirements of the Advanced Practitioner:

  • A degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant frontline experience working within Social Services in the UK as a qualified Social Worker.
