Job description
Overview

We're looking for a Social Value Advisor to join our Places team based in Sheffield.

Location: Nottinghamshire, Sheffield - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - flexible working available, just let us know when you speak to us

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Creating and implementing social value plans for individual projects, including engaging with suppliers and clients
  • Supporting site teams with the delivery and organisation of social value initiatives
  • Tracking progress against social value metrics and implementing mitigation strategies where needed
  • Delivering social value initiatives aligned with client expectations and future project pipelines
  • Enhancing awareness and understanding of social value across the region
Requirements / Qualifications
  • You have a passion for delivering for communities and engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • You have previous experience within construction, social value, the charity sector, education, or similar community-focused roles
  • You possess strong data/statistical analysis, reporting, and critical thinking skills
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to travel to and between sites and external events
  • You're confident using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • A Full Driving Licence is required (does not need to be a UK licence).
