About the role
The Social Media & Content Assistant will support the brand’s digital presence across all organic and paid social channels, working with the remote Creative Lead to help shape our visual narrative and strengthen community engagement. This role is both creative and operational, encompassing content creation, scheduling, performance tracking, paid campaign coordination, email marketing support, and product/sample management. The ideal candidate is a culturally aware storyteller with strong creative instincts, a proactive mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Organic Social Media
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and other relevant channels.
- Maintain the social calendar to ensure consistent brand storytelling and timely posting.
- Monitor trends, conversations, and competitor activity to inform content opportunities.
- Engage with our community through comments, DMs, sharing Stories and proactive relationship-building.
- Provide internal team with weekly & monthly social reports (organic & paid).
Paid Social Media
- Have full knowledge of the setup, management, and optimisation of paid social campaigns within Meta & Google environment, with plans to expand into TikTok, Pinterest & X.
- Assist in asset creation for paid campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and performance focus.
- Coordinate with internal teams on performance reporting and testing plans.
Content Creation & Editing
- Capture social-first content including behind-the-scenes footage, product features, styling videos, and campaign moments.
- Edit short-form video and stills for varied uses across social and digital channels.
- Work with Creative Lead to bring to life seasonal storytelling & brand vision.
Photoshoot Support
- Ecom shoot: Follow the team’s pre-approved styling direction when dressing models for e-commerce shoots to maintain consistency and help with packing.
- Campaign shoot: Provide assistance pre shoots such as garment steaming and packing.
- Assist production manager with other production tasks when required.
Email & Newsletter Support
- Coordinate newsletter planning and scheduling in line with overarching marketing calendar.
- Support with copywriting, briefing assets, and uploading content into the email platform.
- Track performance and support reporting to help inform future email strategies.
Sample & Asset Management
- Oversee sample inventory, ensuring products are tracked, organised, and accessible for shoots, influencers, and press.
- Maintain an orderly archive of digital assets, including imagery and video files.
General Support
- Provide day-to-day assistance to internal team & Creative Lead.
- Assist with influencer coordination, gifting, and logistics.
- Help with administrative tasks, project coordination, and team organisation as required.
Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketing (internships included).
- Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of paid social advertising setup and launching.
- Confident capturing and editing short-form video and still imagery.
- Confident with Adobe Suite/video editing software.
- Good writing skills and an eye for compelling brand storytelling.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
