Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented person, looking for a role where high standards meet fun and ‘the wow’?

We are looking for someone fantastic to join the Executive Team as a Social Events Co-ordinator. You will report to the Social Events Manager, within the fast-paced Executive Office, supporting The Duke of Richmond’s prestigious social calendar.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the planning and delivery of world-class events such as the Members’ Meeting, Goodwoof, Festival of Speed, Revival, and exclusive private occasions. You’ll ensure The Duke’s personal guests receive a seamless, first-class experience from invitation through to event day.

What you’ll do
  • Send invitations and guest communications via email, phone, and face-to-face.
  • Coordinate ticketing, parking, and other arrangements for VIP guests.
  • Assist with table plans, seating arrangements, and guest check-in at dinners and parties.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system and support general administrative tasks.
  • Represent The Duke and the Goodwood brand with professionalism and discretion.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience in dealing with high level interfaces including VIPs and VVIPs.
  • Experience in anticipating senior stakeholder requests and proactive responses.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to work on weekends, bank holidays and evenings, in line with the events calendar.
  • Previous experience or a passion for event planning is desirable.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a sense of fun!
