Job summary

A local government authority in England is seeking a Social Care Lead to work within the Business Intelligence Service. Role Overview :

Working within the council’s Business Intelligence Service, you will drive forward improvements - so that we can understand and address the changing needs and demands of our communities, particularly in the context of challenging times for local public services.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Produce and distribute a range of business intelligence for Oldham, incorporating performance, customer insight, needs analysis and research.
  • Help develop and implement effective methods of measurement, monitoring and evaluation of policies, programmes and services.
  • Develop and maintain tools to support high standards of data quality.
Key Requirements :
  • The ability and experience to analyse and interpret data and present it effectively to various audiences to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively advise and support senior officers, with confidence to challenge where appropriate based on evidence.
  • Excellent organisational skills will be needed to agree, develop and manage the provision of appropriate business intelligence; ensuring managers have access to appropriate and timely information about their service and Oldham.
