Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe Attleborough Factory in Norfolk is hiring a Skilled Operative for Days & Nights in the Kitchen area. You will prepare and batch sauce ingredients, following CCPs and food safety procedures, with full training provided for newcomers.

The role features a 4 on, 4 off schedule (18:00–06:00) and opportunities to work across shifts, with a competitive hourly rate and on-site facilities. Training and PPE are supplied to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to perform standard work at full line speed.
• Ownership and initiative in your role.
• Adaptability to change and a proactive approach.
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Spot, fix, and report production issues that impact performance, quality, or safety.
• Conduct visual inspections for damage, defects, or foreign materials, verifying batch numbers and shelf-life.
• Set up equipment and areas for production, ensuring safety controls, hygiene standards, and proper tools are in place.
• Perform quality inspections and take product samples as per specifications.
