The successful candidate will manage all site administration, including diary management, visitor reception, and general office tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience in a reception or admin role, excellent time management, and customer service skills. Flexibility to cover office hours is required.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Site Secretary (Construction) on a long term temporary basis. This role will be working on their site in Widnes. You will be required to effectively manage all administration for site.

Our client is a national tier 1 builder, who build prestige projects throughout the UK and have an abundance or opportunities in the pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the bookings diary
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Manage meeting room bookings
  • Make tea, coffee etc
  • Adhere to security procedures for Reception areas
  • Maintaining a tidy reception area
  • Deal with orders, invoices, general site administration to ensure smooth running of the project
  • Perform general office administration tasks, we will need you to meet the needs of other departments also
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Experience of working in a reception or admin role - ideally within construction
  • Self-disciplined, with good time management skills and the ability to manage a number of priorities
  • Ability to multi-task, and work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • You will need to work well in a team as well as on your own
  • Professional and pleasant manner in dealing with internal and external customers
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Flexibility to cover office opening hours including holidays and absence cover as required
