Job summary

MCR Property Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial and financial delivery for a Bedford project. You will manage cost reporting, forecasting, and procurement of subcontract packages, ensuring schemes meet budgets and programmes.

The role is site-based with valuations and project reviews, working with Project Managers and other surveyors to strengthen the commercial strategy across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience across pre- and post-contract stages.
• Experience with cost plans, estimates, and BOQ measurement.
• Tendering, procurement, value engineering, and reporting.
• Strong numerical and commercial acumen.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting.
• Manage contract and subcontract packages and variations.
• Support project managers and wider delivery team.
• Contribute to commercial strategy across portfolios.
• Site-based with regular valuations and project reviews.
