Overview

Waste Site Chemist — 3 shift pattern (Mornings, Afternoons and Nights). Commutable from Walsall, Stafford, Cannock, Litchfield. Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 plus overtime opportunities, enhanced night pay (1.5x), 33 days holiday and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all incoming waste has correct paperwork and is compliant with regulations.
• Operate predominantly outdoors, supporting the site chemist team to ensure hazardous waste is properly managed.
• Assist with documentation and regulatory compliance for waste streams.

The Person / Qualifications

• Experience in a waste facility.
• Happy to work outdoors.
• Happy working in dirty environments.
