Sofa.com in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead our showroom team and ensure every customer enjoys an exceptional visit. You will manage daily showroom operations, drive sales, and maintain an inviting space that reflects the Sofa.com brand.

As a hands-on leader, you will coach sales associates, monitor targets, and collaborate with the wider team to optimise stock, merchandising, and customer experience in a busy retail environment. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a retail management role, preferably in furniture/home décor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and aesthetics for visual merchandising.
• Ability to work under pressure, hit sales targets, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
• Ensure every customer has a positive showroom experience with expert product guidance.
• Drive sales by engaging with customers, monitoring performance, and implementing win‑back strategies.
• Maintain showroom appearance to reflect the Sofa.com brand and appeal to customers.
• Oversee stock levels, reporting, and replenishment to keep the showroom fully stocked.
• Ensure efficient showroom operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and safety compliance.
• Provide training and development opportunities for the team to grow in their roles.
• Prepare and present regular sales and operations reports to senior management.
• Availability to work across evenings and weekends.
