Job summary

Sofa.com in Glasgow seeks an experienced Supervisor to lead the showroom team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will manage daily operations, drive sales, and collaborate with the broader team to maintain an inviting, on-brand showroom.

The role requires proven leadership in retail, strong communication, and a passion for interiors. The position is full-time with a 40-hour week, including some evenings and weekends, and a fixed-term end date in December 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and showroom presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet sales targets and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Drive showroom sales and monitor performance to exceed targets.
• Maintain attractive showroom visuals and product displays reflecting the Sofa.com brand.
• Oversee stock levels, reporting, and replenishment to keep stock availability.
• Ensure efficient showroom operations including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Provide ongoing training and development for the team and communicate insights to senior management.
• Prepare regular sales and operations reports and present actionable insights.
• Availability to work across evenings and weekends.
