Job summary

CareCo in Stevenage is seeking a Showroom Manager to lead a team in delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets and maintaining showroom standards. You will plan rotas, train staff, and ensure stock control and accurate cash handling in a busy mobility retailer showroom.

The role involves motivating a team, managing daily operations, and delivering a high-quality customer experience in a dynamic retail environment at our Stevenage showroom.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of meeting sales targets through proven selling techniques.
• Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, colleagues, and external business partners
• The ability to demonstrate excellent Retail standards throughout the sales floor including layout, product display and POS/graphics
• Experience in the effective management of the compliance of company procedures and systems relating to stock control and sales transactions

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for CareCo, providing the very best customer service at all times
• Encourage and motivate your team to meet objectives and sales targets
• Effectively manage your team including planning rotas, delivering training and cascading information from other departments and local market
• Manage the stockroom to shopfloor replenishment process
• Ensure cashing-up, banking systems and sales transactions are completed accurately

Job description

Salary: Competitive depending on experience plus bonus

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week over 5 days

Shifts: Monday to Sunday rota, between 09:00 – 18:00

Location: Stevenage Showroom, SG1 1XZ

As a Showroom Manager, you will:
