Job summary

Sue Ryder Prestwick shop is seeking a Shop Supervisor to lead the team, drive sales and support fundraising campaigns. Working 7.5 hours per week, including Saturdays on a rota, you will help recruit and train volunteers, ensure excellent customer service and maintain shop standards.

You'll manage stock and EPOS, build community relationships, and champion the Sue Ryder brand in-store campaigns. The role offers a rewarding purpose and good work-life balance, with generous staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Essential Criteria: Customer Service Experience.
• Previous supervisory Experience.
• Cash Handling/Till work.
• Basic IT skills (emails/instant messaging/video calls).
• Organisational Skills.
• Lone working experience.

Responsibilities

• You will drive sales, income and performance against targets.
• Support and motivate the team to provide excellent service to customers and donors.
• Build strong community relationships to generate quality donated stock.
• Help recruit, train and retain a committed volunteer team.
• Support in maintaining high standards of merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety.
• Support in stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh and well presented.
