Job summary

Sue Ryder in Bristol Fishponds is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead the team, drive sales and donor engagement, and ensure excellent customer service. You will support the shop manager, manage stock and EPOS processes, and help maintain high merchandising and safety standards.

The role offers varied duties from recruiting and training volunteers to building strong community links that generate quality donated stock.

Responsibilities

• As Assistant Shop Manager you will be using your skills and retail experience to help drive sales, income and performance against targets.
• Support and motivate the team to provide excellent service to customers and donors.
• Building strong community relationships to generate quality donated stock.
• Help Recruit, train and retain a committed volunteer team.
• Support in maintaining high standards of merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety.
• Support in managing stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh, seasonal and well presented.
• Championing the Sue Ryder brand, in-store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.
