Sue Ryder’s Binhamy Retail Park shop in Bude is recruiting a Shop Assistant to support the team, engage with customers and donors, and help drive income for vital palliative care services.

The role requires customer service experience, cash handling, basic IT skills and a committed, team-oriented approach. Shifts on Saturdays with part-time hours reflect the shop’s weekend operation.

Responsibilities

• As Shop Assistant you will be using your skills and retail experience to help drive sales, income and performance against targets.
• Provide excellent service to customers and donors.
• Help build strong community relationships to generate quality donated stock.
• Support in maintaining high standards of merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety.
• Support in managing stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh, seasonal and well presented.
• Championing the Sue Ryder brand, in-store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.
