Job summary

Sue Ryder's Mildenhall shop is seeking a Shop Supervisor to lead a small team, drive sales and maintain high standards of customer service and merchandising.

You'll recruit, train and retain volunteers, manage stock and EPOS processes, and champion Sue Ryder campaigns while building community relationships. Weekend shifts and a supportive environment offered.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and people skills
• Experience supervising a small team or volunteers
• Cash handling and till work experience
• Basic IT skills (emails/instant messaging)
• Good organisational skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to work lone shifts and manage a shop environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop to achieve sales targets and track performance
• Support and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service
• Build relationships with donors and the local community to secure quality stock
• Recruit, train and retain volunteers for the shop
• Maintain merchandising standards, housekeeping and health & safety
• Manage stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh and well presented
