Join our dynamic team at the Humber Refinery as a Shift Production Chemist, where you\'ll play a vital role in supporting 24/7 refinery operations. You will work a 12-hour shift pattern and be responsible for analysis to support unit optimisation.

The Humber Refinery is contributing to the UK\'s decarbonisation efforts. As part of the UK Government\'s net zero ambition, the Humber Refinery is on a journey to become the Refinery of the Future, with projects including a first-of-a-kind FCC carbon capture project. Humber Zero aims to reduce UK industrial carbon emissions by up to 8 million tonnes of CO2 by 2030 from the Immingham area. The Humber Refinery is the UK\'s only refiner producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel at scale and the only European facility producing battery anode coke, a key component for lithium-ion batteries. Our current battery anode coke production could enable up to 1.3 million EVs on the road each year, with multiple projects to expand this capability.
