Job description
Responsibilities

In this key role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery including the Baler, Palletiser, and Re-Work Palletiser to ensure smooth production operations. You will carry out regular line quality checks to ensure products meet standards and print pallet tickets for outgoing orders. In addition, you will assist with troubleshooting and resolving basic machine issues such as strapper jams and restarts. Fork‑lift truck operation will also be part of your duties, along with performing outgoing inspections to ensure product quality. You will adhere to all safety standards and company procedures, including following the 6S and Wrexham housekeeping organisational system to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Monitoring and achieving efficiency and spoilage targets will be an important part of your responsibilities. You will also contribute to job rotation across different operator tasks, helping with line clearances when necessary and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications
  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous experience in a high‑speed process environment and shift work is desirable.
