Job summary

Greggs plc is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a shop team across multiple sales channels, including in-shop, delivery, and Click + Collect. You will look after the shop in the Manager’s absence, motivate the team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience during each shift.

You’ll oversee product preparation, stock displays, cleaning, and operation flow, while showcasing natural leadership and a passion for service.

Qualifications

• Previous team supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Ability to engage and motivate staff during shifts.
• Experience in a fast-paced food retail environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver results and uphold shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers quickly and friendly.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and ovens management.
• Ensure displays are stocked and the shop is clean and presentable.
• Support the manager in shift operations and coverage.
• Maintain an inclusive culture and great customer service.
