Overview

Shift Maintenance Manager - FMCG Manufacturer

Location: Blackpool

Salary: £60,000 + Pension + Bens

Shift Pattern: Week 1: Mon days, Tue Days, Wed nights, Thu nights; Fri–Sun off. Week 2: Mon–Tue off; Wed–Thu days; Fri–Sun nights. Week 3: Mon–Thu off; Fri–Sun days. Week 4: Mon–Tue nights; Wed–Sun off. Then back to Week 1.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a shift engineering team of around 40 multiskilled engineers.
  • Plan and execute engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximise machine efficiencies on fast-moving packaging lines.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance tasks and work within a high-speed automated factory environment (mechanical or electrical background).
  • Utilise SAP PPM system to monitor day-to-day KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide strong people management and leadership on the shop floor.
Qualifications
  • Apprentice Trained Engineer.
  • Experience of FMCG production.
