Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd is a leading convenience retailer in the UK. The Shift Leader role focuses on coordinating a retail team to deliver the easiest shopping trip for customers while opening and closing the store and ensuring safety and coverage.

You will support the Store Manager in daily operations and community events, and drive a welcoming, well-presented store. As a Shift Leader, you will help manage queues, prioritise replenishment, and ensure colleagues are informed and engaged.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver smooth shopping trips for customers.
• Open/close the store and manage duty cover to ensure safety and service.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues during the Store Manager's absence.
• Support events and community initiatives run by the store.
• Maintain store cleanliness, presentation and stock replenishment.
• Balance service and replenishment priorities to meet customer needs.
