Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily store operations and guide a team to deliver excellent customer service. You will run duty shifts, coach colleagues, and ensure a clean, well-presented store while maintaining safety and standards.

As a keyholder, you will resolve issues in the Store Manager's absence, coordinate with area leadership, and help drive improvements in customer experience and store performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team during duty shifts.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and calmly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver the easiest shopping trip in the community.
• Opening/closing the store and completing duty cover, ensuring safety and service.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager for day-to-day queries.
• Support Store Manager in seasonal, community and charity events and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well presented.
• Prioritise replenishment of key products for customers.
• Manage queues and ensure smooth customer flow.
