Job summary

Greggs is seeking a Shift Manager in Cockermouth to lead a customer-focused team and ensure smooth shop operations. You’ll cover shifts when the Manager is away, motivate staff, and ensure colleagues have what they need to do an exceptional job.

You will oversee customer service across in-store, delivery, and online orders, maintain standards, and support a welcoming, inclusive shop culture. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Able to support an inclusive culture and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver excellent results and maintain high shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers quickly and warmly.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and oven management.
• Keep displays stocked with a wide range of choices.
• Ensure the shop remains clean, tidy and presentable.
